CONFERENCE: JURASSICA XI Spała – 9-11 octobre 2014

 2nd circular

Dear Colleagues,

As we have announced in the first circular, the eleventh conference “Jurassica” will be held in Spała, at 9-11 October 2014. According to our previous information during our meeting we are planning to acquaint you with Callovian and Tithonian deposits which are outcrop in the Tomaszów trough (Owadów-Brzezinki near Sławno quarry and chalcedonite quarry in Inowłódz).

Conference will be placed in the conference and training center „Zacisze” in Spała (Spała, ul. Piłsudskiego 20, http://www.spala.pl/noclegi/zacisze/).

We planned the beginning of conference at 9 October 2014 r. morning and it will be oral and poster presentation day. Therefore, it is possible to arrive the evening before the conference. We are planned one and half day of presentations and one field day (probably the afternoon of the second day and morning of the third day).

The total cost of conference is 470,00 PLN. It includes: accommodation and alimentation  (from 9 October 2014  morning – 2 nights, full alimentation, packed lunch for field trip), conference papers, bus journeys during field trips, coffee breaks. Persons which will arrive a day before, pay personally for an additional night accommodation (with breakfast)(83,00 PLN).

A deadline for payment is 15 June 2014. Payment should be done on account of Polish Geological Society PKO BP SA I O. Kraków, 45 1020 2892 0000 5202 0181 6842 z with potscript „Jurassica XI”

Please to send oral and posters presentations abstracts and short articles to the address  anna.feldman-olszewska@pgi.gov.pl . A deadline for articles and abstracts submission is 15 June 2014. In the case of sending short article please not to send abstract. Articles and abstracts please to prepare according to PGI-NRI Publisher guidline (http://www.pgi.gov.pl/pl/wydawnictwa-geologiczne-pig-pib/seryjne/biuletyn-pig/912-wskaz-dla-autor ).

The third and last circular with oral and poster presentations will be scheduled in the final program and send to participants only at the end of September.
